Vegan Date Buns

Melt coconut butter. Stir in oat milk and dry yeast.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and sugar.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms. Remove dough from bowl and hand-knead for several more minutes.
Place dough back into bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to rise for 1 hour.
Once dough has risen, preheat oven to 365 °F.
For the date caramel sauce : add dates to a small pot with 1/3 cup water over medium heat.
Stir until dates have completely melted. Add cinnamon and set mixture aside to cool.
Roll dough out onto a floured surface into a rectangular sheet and spread the caramel filling. Roll up dough and cut evenly into 2-inch pieces.
Brush cake tin with coconut oil, place buns into tin, and lightly brush with oat milk. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and brush with syrup.
For the frosting, mix Violife Just Like Cream Cheese Original and remaining syrup. Before serving, spread frosting onto buns and sprinkle nuts on top.
